2003-07-26 - 6:05 p.m. dance the night away - van halen we're going out tonight. i'm super stoked! i need this so much. we're meeting patches and jose, going out for drinks, hopefully we'll hit the rainbow room, then, it's off to club sucker or hot dog. either one is fine by me. i'm gonna wear my new, too expensive t shirt from I.C.R. vs. Deth Killers of Bushwick. these shirts are fantastic. i like clothes, and i'll spend money for nice things, but, there's still something that makes me crazy about how much "cool" things cost. i can almost hear my mother's voice, "you paid HOW MUCH for that?". not that anyone in smltwn has even heard of dethkillers, but i'm not gonna be IN smltwn, am i? damn, hollywood. damn me for falling into all that crap. fasion victim, or naive pawn in the fashion industry's game? you make the call. is it industry's, or industries? i'm embarrassed to say that i have no idea. whatever, isn't the shirt fantastic?
yep, i'm gay! oohhh, grandaddy and super furry animals are playing in hollywood in a coupla months? i wanna go! also, the walkmen are playing as well. decisions, decisions.... there's also a burlesque fest that i'd like to check out. i may be a big 'mo, but i LOVE burlesque. it's so much fun. i've seen this group from l.a. called the velvet hammer a few times, and they're fabulous. it's cool because it's not stripping in the fake breasted, vinyl thong, welcome to the jungle, sunset strip sorta way, you know? it's a true throwback to the days when less was more, and the costumes and, dance routines were classy, sassy, and just a little bit trashy. kinda like pin up girls come to life. it's fantastic. i'm so excited, i'm just rambling like a dork. matt looks so good, right now. when he wears my diesel's, my mouth waters. i can't wait to peel his tshirt off him. grrr!! have fun, kids. play nice. |
