and the world waits...

stop trying to pretend...stop pretending - the strokes

hot emotion: suffocating embarrassment

word of the day: mortification

lamest guest appearance on a television show: jack osbourne on dawson's creek. bonus lameosity: jack says fuck 4 or 5 times bleeped out a la' the osbournes.

cutest stroke: nick valensi. hands down. no question.

about last night, or, earlier this morning, it was not that big a deal. the dessert was for all of us to share, and not like we got some crazy big ass desserts for each of us due to my devastating good looks, or whatever. and i did flirt with the waiter because he was cute, and when he embarrassed me, well, that wasn't his fault. anyway, he was a cute boy with brown hair/eyes, and a cute butt. sound familiar? yeah, well, to me too. also, the greatest, longest boner inducing eyelashes. i just read my bullshit from last night, and i realized that i had left some stuff out (ass usual), and the stuff i left out made it sound very "one way", when it wasn't. but, like i've said, if i wrote it like i (over)thought it, then my entries would be epic in proportion. enough over explaining myself. besides, it's not like anyone cares, but it's important to me. sorry to anyone reading, and rolling their eyes, and sorry that i'm sorry at all. fuck, end of subject.

this morning i woke up at like 10. that's terrible. i watched good day live. had some coffee, and returned some movies. i had rented 40 days & 40 nights. damn josh hartnett. he sucked me in, and it was a lousy, lousy movie. i also rented storytelling. it was about what i expected. selma blair. huh? i don't know what to make of her. i have a leaning, but it's unsubstantiated. my take thusfar is that she is one of those marginal actors who do what they do. i.e. zoey, duncan, jack, and jane, but they sort of luck out, and get a couple of credible "indie" movie roles, and people make a big deal about them because they went from the wb to sundance. btw, that's getting to be less, and less of a big deal. anyhow, once they get this new exposure they become like artsy fartsy weird. now, were they always that crazysexycool, or did they feel the need to conform to some young hollywood/indie standard? how famous do you need to be for it to become mandatory that you don't comb your hair? i also feel this way about brittany murphy, but, i found out she went to a perfoming arts school, so, i guess she is the real deal. although, she still acts like a fucking weirdo, and i still wonder if it's artistic flamboyance, or weirdness for weirdness sake. did she act so strange after clueless? or not until later. if i had the answer to that burning question then'd i'd have a concrete opinion. whatever.

and the world waits.

good afternoon...
