2002-03-01 - 9:59 p.m. hello little friend, work was boring. i develop pictures in a photo lab. yippee!!! it's not so bad, actually. well, i'm looking forward to "drinks" w/ my latest crush. i'm not sure where we are going. if i get to pick, we'd go to my favorite dive bar(non-mexican). the sans souci. it's the greatest. the jukebox is incredible. patsy cline, frank sinatra, the stones. there is a painting of kenny rogers on the wall. it's genius, i tell you, pure genius! now, my favorite dive bar(mexican)is la cita. it's not so much the atmosphere. it's actually sorta, atmosphere free, decor wise. the draw for me is the saturday night drag shows. the "girls" are amazing. it always amazes me that macho mexican men, who would stab you for looking at them crosseyed, happily ogle other mexican, openly gay men. i guess it's accepted under controlled circumstances. anyway, it's truly fabulous. i don't think la cita is gonna be in our plans tomorrow, but, hopefully, we don't end up at paddy's. the "gay" bar. it's so tired, it needs a nap. although, i enjoyed watching the twinkies dress like male versions of britney spears. goodnight little friend. |
