2002-02-28 - 12:15 a.m. "thanks for calling me babe" - jewel, to a caller during a radio interview hello little friend, i came thisclose to going out tonight, but, i didn't. i'm in that in between place right now where half of me is saying, you could be out right now, doing something fabulous. or, thank buddah you stayed in. you need to catch up on your sleep, and who felt like getting dressed,(finding the perfect t-shirt to go with my favorite thrift store jeans, then deciding, hmm..the chucks or the pumas?-very daunting), getting in the car,(question,is a chevy tracker a car, truck, or what? i've been going w/ "the tracker"),and going somewhere? so, now it's too early to sleep, too late to go out. this weekend i might go have drinks w/ this guy i have a crush on. i'm a masochist, so it's fine. really. at least this time he is doing the footwork. i've called him twice to get together, but, he was busy both times. now two calls in about 3 or 4 months aren't really the actions of a desperate man, but, it just feels desperate. especially when you were shut down both times. i believed him, but, there's that neurotic, insecure part. so, maybe drinks. cheers! |
