2004-01-04 - 10:12 p.m. i just want to scream, hello - pearl jam outlet shopping. that's what we did yesterday. matt's boss gave all his employees gift certificates to the local outlet mall. i think i'm all shopped out, dude. seriously. it was cool or whatever, but, i'm over crowds, crying kids, people bumping into you with their shopping bags, etc. etc...blah...blah...blah i insisted we go early, and not "sleep in" like matty had wanted. good thing. i dunno what it was. i just wasn't in the mood. i do love the outlet book store very much. i got over 100 dollars worth of books for under 30 bucks. did anyone know that moon unit zappa is an author? neither did i. well, she is. i'll give an in depth review upon completion. or not. 2 things: 1) what is up with britney spears? she's all washed up at 22. i'm kissing madonna, i'm posing half naked in magazines, i'm married...oh, wait...i'm not. it's so awful. i'm embarrassed for her. in the midst of all this...acting out? in the midst of all whatever this all is, one thing i haven't heard much about is her album / music career. ...such as it is. done w/ her. 2) i love matt so much. after the shopping, he took me out to lunch in malibu. we hopped on highway 1, and were in malibu in no time. the nice relaxing drive on the ocean was so perfect. it was a little cold, but, i like the cold. the ocean view, the food, and, most especially, the company made for a beautiful day. the kind of day that i'll store away and remember. yup, i've got it bad. i'm watching trading spaces and i have to wonder, what's with all the ty pennington talk when there's yummy carter oosterhouse? he's fucking hot. gay and lame. a winning combination. later... |
