2003-07-31 - 10:22 a.m. oh, daddy dear, you know you're still number one - cyndi lauper okay, i'm throwing my hat into the reality t.v. ring. i'm still working on the name (any help would be appreciated), but, the premise is this: a terminally ill person (prefferably an older, affluent adult) with assorted relatives, has to decide who gets the inheritance. the relatives all live on site with the sick person, and have to take care of them. i'm talking, bedpan duty, ass wiping, sponge bathing, the whole nine. to keep things fair (and interesting), the family members will compete in physical, and mental challenges to win special "individual care dates". these dates will allow the winners to spend quality one on one time with the dying relative. another perk of winning the challenges would be that for a week the winner would have their own special room, and gourmet meal service. each week, the dying relative will vote out a member of the family. the decision will be based on challenge results, and the quality of care the sick relative feels they have been given. the winner, of course, is named sole heir of the estate. of course, there has to be a twist, right? here it is, if after winning, the winner states that he/she will share or split the inheritance with the other family members, he/she will recieve DOUBLE the amount of the inheritance. also, the burial is paid for by the show. win - win, right? like i said, i'm stumped for a name, but, it'll come. later |
