2002-10-06 - 9:01 p.m. the touch of you is driving me outta my head, oh boy - brenda & the tabulations cool smell: fabric softener word of the day: bravado hot candy: now & laters the weekend: took my parents out to dinner. it was nice. everybody was there, and looking around the table made my eyes water...just between you, and i. afterwards, matt, and i went dancing. we did paddys. it was alright. i wore my new burberry bucket hat. of course, now that i have it, i like it, but i don't love it. typical. i'm so excited for the rolling stones concert that i can't stand it. i usually get excited for shows, but not til like a day or two before, but it's still like 4 weeks away, but, i'm buzzing. i'm soooo excited. i'm i geek like that. i also can't wait to see the t shirts they have for l.a. it seems the stones are doing specialty t's for specific cities. i want to get my hands on a new york shirt. it has the classic i heart n y design, but instead of the heart it's the stones tongue. i WANT one. i've been trying to figure out what they're gonna do for l.a. ??? i scored a cool j. crew scarf for 4 bucks at a clearance sale. i love clearance. most of it is crap, but, if you take your time, you can find some cool shit. i love bargains. i also bought a box of ties, you heard me, a box of ties from ebay for like ten bucks. it's like 18 ties, and most of 'em look pretty cool. again, i'm a geek like that. that last entry with the dismissed thing, well, alls i can say about that is, boy, do they have the wrong guy. love is not mine for the taking, generally. i'm in love now, and i'm a very fortunate guy, but, i've been in love exactly twice in my life. twice for 29 isn't bad, i guess. like chazz palminteri (not spelled correctly, i know) says in "a bronx tale", "you only get three great loves in your life." i wonder if there's any truth to that. stranger things have happened. goodnight... p.s. keep writing, and i'll keep reading, guapo. |
