2003-04-24 - 11:16 p.m. won't you look down upon me jesus, you gotta help me make a stand - james taylor first, i'm ashamed to be a laker fan, right now. the timberwolves are getting shafted big time by the refs, and l.a. is playing dirty. it's embarrassing, horrible basketball. so, i went to jury duty wednesday. i got sent up to a courtroom, had to go back today, and i am on a jury. of course, i can't get into the specifics, but the trial is expected to last about 3 weeks. good times. i get paid for as long as the trial lasts, so, it's not any kind of hardship, but, 3 weeks is a long ass time. it's gonna be a bitch trying to get to bed at a decent hour. the highlight of my day was seeing this beautiful guy in the cafeteria of the goverment center. he was gorgeous. he noticed me staring, and kinda smiled. that's all. but, damn he was hot. i'm kind of glad that i'm not gonna be at work for three weeks. it's sorta fucked up to say, but, it's the truth. i'm trying to get matt into going to a mariachi festival. i was reading about one coming to a local venue next month, and it sounds pretty good. i went to one at the universal with mando. it was awesome. i love mariachi music. it's so passionate, and beautiful. matt feels like he's gonna be the only white person there. i'm so sure. he's like, "i really don't know about that type of music, and i don't think i'd like it". i wish he'd give it a try, but, it's not a huge deal if he doesn't. i've got a small army of friends/family that would be into going. but, if he ever wants to get into his roots, and check out riverdance, fuck him. kidding, only kidding. i'm tired, and if i want to have sex tonight, i'd better get off this thing. later |
