2006-04-26 - 12:25 a.m. isn't it nice.... - soft cell i'm not sure what all i've said and havent said. i'm diving right in. matty and i are cool. nothing's "fixed". i know for a fact that we will c0ntinue to go back and forth on my shyness shit and his denial shit. i'm over the fact that try as i might, we're gonna go right round, baby, right round, like a record, baby..... we could be dealing with infidelity and heroin addiction, so, we're.......lucky? is this the part where i admit that i've never been closer to slugging a boyfriend in my life? if you read me with any regularity, then you know that i'm an unfortunate combination of hot headedness, painful shyness, stubborn assholiness, and....a little (fucking tons) anger and a history of violence (so viggo...kidding). i have never, however, battered a boyfriend. this time, i was balling my fists up, i was so close. man, let's forget it. i didn't do anything, and, that's good. did i talk about oregon? my kid brother is going to college there so we went to visit the campus. that's my brother, my parents, matty and i. hours of family time in a vehicle of contention. don't ask. the campus was great. the people were super nice, and oregon was beautiful. we left on a saturday and got back late wednesday. the next day was the strokes show at the universal in l.a. once again, they played flawlessly, but, were kinda robotic. i know i've mentioned that vibe before. sometimes, it just seems like they're phoning it in. like i said before, maybe they're jetlagged, sick, tired, hungover, strung out, all of the above. it's gotta be so tiring and monotonous. it's also gotta be fucking awesome. i mean, c'mon. but, i love them, so, i'll cut them some slack. eagles of death metal opened and they just got on my nerves. .....what else have i been up to........ oh, we had my nieces' first birthday party at my parents' a coupla weeks ago. it was cool. unfortunately, my poor baby girl was sick and not feeling the party people so much. easter was lots of fun. um....eggs and shit. we went to see matts mom the day before. fucker pulled a number on me, and left me there alone with her while he went to the store. it wasn't that that bad, but, i'm not gonna lie, it fucking felt awful. on a totally gay and pervy note, there are so many guys that are pumping my nads right now. in no particular order: alex turner (lead singer - arctic monkeys) aras - survivor. he's a yoga instructor. i'm picturing acrobatic sex. hot guy, shane - the real housewives of orange county (horrible "reality" show) manu ginobili - san antonio spurs. this guy is fucking hot. with the scruff and that body....fucking amazing. harold - top chef. i'm picturing angry sex. of course, there are my old stand bys: justin timberlake don't get me started. the list is endless. random big ups to: threadless.com good shit. have you heard of the new movie, "brick"? it's got joseph gordon levitt (3rd rock from the sun). it's pretty cool. it's like set in the present and it's dealing with high school aged kids, but, the style of the film is film noir. it's a little strange hearing "kids" speaking in that style, but, it kinda grows on you. there are femme fatales, and goons, and all those kind of film noir staples. it's kinda hard to do it justice. anyway, it's very good. we saw it in santa monica on 3rd street and that was annoying. only because it was 3rd st on a saturday. can you say clusterfuck? why am i complaining about that now? cuz i'm a fucking cunt. oh my god, i just reminded myself of something. you know the fantastic movie, "mean creek"? the fat kid that nobody likes? the one who calls "millie" a cunt? well he's on some kiddie, pre-teen type show on nickelodeon. my nephews apparently love it, and when i realized who that kid was, it was strange. yeah, so.....that's been my so called life lately. just kinda stupid and tiring and annoying. more of the same old same old, bitches. deal with it. rock and roll........ |
