2005-06-13 - 7:48 a.m. i know i'm a little late on this, but, the new coldplay album? fantastic. so, so good. there i was like a geek, last tuesday, waiting for best buy to open. i want to talk about adam........but. i'm working up to it. oh, saturday was cool. we headed up to the santa barbara bowl for the kjee summer round up. the drive up to santa barbara is always a beautiful one. sunny, overcast or anything in between. with the ocean at your side, it's really nice. there was one thing that bugged me. about half way up, the traffic came to a near standstill. i was trying to figure out what the deal was. then, i realized where we were. la conchita was horribly affected by the heavy rain we had. several homes were buried in a massive land slide. people were buried alive. sure enough, once we passed mussel shoals and came around the turn where la conchita is, the traffic picked up like normal. i dunno, it wasn't exactly surprising, it was still creepy though. anyway, back to the round up. we missed santa barbaras'own mad caddies, which kinda sucked, but the traffic was madness. we did however get to our seats just as the bravery were starting their set. they were great. very sexy. next was tegan and sara. they were really good as well. next up, pinback. i really liked them a lot. then, hot hot heat took the stage and rocked the house, yo. they are so fantastic live. just awesome. the next two bands i was not looking forward to. straight outta hawaii, pepper. based on their hit single, i wanna have dirty hot sex with you, i wasn't expecting much. once you got into the fact that they were a not great party reggae band who were pretty funny and very hot w/o their shirts. comeoniwannaleiya. after, rise against got the kids pumping their fists and rocking. finally, jimmy eat world took the stage and were incredible. i'm not a huge fan, but, i like 'em and they are fucking great live. all in all, it was a great show. as for the eye candy, good stuff. hey, it was santa barbara. home of beautiful people. hot, shirtless guys in shorts all day long. yum. adam. he came over yesterday, and left this morning. matty and i have begun a slow dialogue about this situation. i don't know. i don't think it's gonna last too long. yes, there are my strong feelings of attraction to adam. i gotta tell you, after we became "just friends" it was fucking hard to put the thoughts of his naked body and what i did with his naked body out of my mind. we'd look at each other over breafast, or whatever and i swear to you, we both wanted to strip and fuck on the table. last night, i was kneeling w/ adam in front of me and we were macking big time. he was kinda jacking me while we were making out. then matt kinda pulled my head back where he was behind me and started kissing me and he had his hands on my hips and kinda pulled me out of adams grasp. adam kinda sat back down on his heels and smiled when he caught my eye. i don't know. |
