2003-11-24 - 3:54 p.m. where do we go from here? - haircut 100 hey, i've been busy. i love that. saturday was bday celebrations for my homegirl, patches. she's 3-0, now. pretty cool. i can't believe that we've known each other since jr. high. i love that! she and jose will be coming to smltwn for thanksgiving, to visit her parents. we're actually supposed to go out wednesday. i'm looking forward to it. i took my baby bruddah shopping yesterday. he had some christmas wishlisting to do. i sort of did too. i did some crazy bargain shopping at macy's. the sales this time of year are fantastic. stuff i bought at macy's: 1 pair of ralph lauren jeans, two pairs of mesh basketball shorts, a nice, soft baby blue t-shirt, a new nautica wallet, and i bought brother a nike reversible basketball jersey. all for 85 bucks. damn, i'm good. the jeans alone were almost that much regular price. remember kids: there's nothin' wrong with scouring those clearance racks. it is mostly crap, but, there's gold in them thar hills too. after macy's, we were in the worlds longest line at the coffee bean, when i saw an old friend from school. her and i hadn't seen each other in quite awhile, and the last few times were strained and awkward. it was basically more of the same. she gave me her number and i may call her. i don't wanna get into all of it. it's nothing major, i don't get into drama, and especially not with girls. i may be a 'mo, but, c'mon man. i know gay boys who practically get into slap fights w/ their hags, and i find that terribly distasteful. as effeminate as you may be, you're still a guy, and guys shouldn't get into tizzy's with their girlfriends. gay or not. that's all i have to say about that. i'm more of a freeze you out type of person. it's easier (not to mention meaner) anyway. besides, my shyness isn't conducive to scene making. thank god. i guess it is good for something. when i got home sunday, matty had an early supper cooking. stuffed pork chops with mashed potatos. so fucking good. afterwards, he led me to bed. very, very nice. later on, we raided the kithcen naked. it was very demi moore and rob lowe in "about last night". i made us tuna on wheat thins and we watched "the women" in bed. also very, very nice. if you haven't seen "the women", do. it's such a fantastic movie. a classic. i just found out that gene anthony ray passed away. i had such a crush on "leroy" as a kid. who didn't love fame? also, jonathan brandeis (sp?), the kid from "ladybugs" with rodney dangerfield. he was only 27. i'm not very familiar with his work, but it's just sad. mando and the artist might come up for thanksgiving. we'll know for sure by tomorrow. i hope they do. i want them to meet chad. i wish we could all go back. back to when we were all together in one place. that's life though, right? hey, does anyone know how to fix my older entries page? for some reason, the titles of my entries don't show up. instead, alls it says is %%older_entries%%, or something like that. stuff like that usually happens when i decide to futz with my template, but i swear it wasn't me...this time anyway. a little help? later |
