2003-09-10 - 1:39 p.m. meet me in the bathroom, that's what she said - the strokes i'm trying real hard to not get sucked into daytime television. real hard. but....... there's something about sylvia browne that i've always liked. she's so matter of fact about things. she's not a hippy dippy type either, like kenny kingston. when he gets messages from beyond, and he says, "thanks, sweet spirit", i just think that's so wack. but, not sylvia. she's got those vulcan hot pink fake nails, green eye shadow, and the raspy smokers laugh. when someone asks about if people are dead or alive, sylvia just says, "they're dead, honey", and she never offer sympathy. i'm not calling her mean, or unfeeling, i just think she's got this been there, done that sort of attitude. i'm not sure what i think about psychics, i will say that i'd like to believe, but, if it's true or not, she seems to have a gift, or, one hell of a grift. i'm not entirely sure which. these guys:
rule. kings of leon are so great. i totally disagree with the whole "southern strokes" thing, but, they rock. i've had their album since it came out, but, i never REALLY listened to it until recently. i'm a music freak, but, lately, even though i get cd's, and keep up with bands like i always have, once i get the album, i don't really listen to it. whereas before i'd devour my new music. now, i get it, but, it may be weeks before i get into it. strange. the strokes are going on tour next month. being a fan club member, i got the hook up. well, advance notice at least. tix go on sale soon, very soon. i'm fucking stoked!! rocktober is in full effect. interpol, phantom planet, and the strokes. if i can get tix for both strokes shows in l.a. i will. today, the cute guy at the gym told me i had "nice calves". i wanted to tell him, "nice ass", but, i demured. cute guy at the gym is fucking hot. alls i know is, matt's gettin' worked tonight. later....... |
