2003-06-24 - 11:23 p.m. take me out tonight...take me anywhere - the smiths hey, i've been listening to a lot of smiths albums. yes, albums. don't you love sliding the record out of it's sleeve, placing it on the turntable, and carefully placing the needle onto it? that scratchy little sound, then the beautiful music. anyway, i do. i've been super lazy about this whole diary business lately. it happens. so, what have i not gotten into...? oh, matt had a minor jealous fit recently. we were at paddy's, and ryan (guy who was sorta interested in me) was there. he came up gave me a hug / kiss combo that i was not expecting. later on, he tried to cut in while matt and i were dancing. uh...didn't happen. without creating too much drama, matt basically told ryan to fuck off in no short order. he obliged. matt's a mean fucker when he wants to be. i actually got nervous. later, he told me he was sorry. i told him not to apologize. he was pist, the guy was out of line, and what was he supposed to do? if someone's fucking with you, you ask them to stop. if they don't, you tell them to stop. if they don't it's on. period. i don't think he woulda thrown blows about it, but ryan wouldn't have either. so, there you have it. i've been kinda bummed lately. i don't really want to get into it, but it kinda sucks. i'm just generally unhappy. it happens every so often. it usually runs it's course. depression is such a downer. later *about the yago files, i'm already hooked. big ups to my man blankwave. |
