we did it my way

if being afraid is a crime we'll hang side by side - the replacements

san francisco was lots of fun

going with my parents was alright

very...touristy

it's not like i know my way around very well, but at least we venture out

with them it's always the same

we stayed right by fisherman's wharf, hung out in that immediate area, maybe chinatown, and that's pretty much it

...until

i had my way

we hit the castro, north beach, where fortuitously enough they were having the north beach festival

good music, good food, good stuff

we also took my parents and brother to union square via cable car

they dug the shopping, i only cared about rasputin

although, i bought some clothes too

we also took them to the amoeba on haight

they dug the neighborhood

did i mention that there was a tower records across the street from our hotel?

yeah, lots of cd's

we had fun

i kinda have a habit of doing that

getting everyone on the same page as me in a very...unassuming way

but, like i said, we had fun

and in the end

isn't that all that really matters?

p.s. never under any circumstances stay at the travelodge on columbus

you would think that a travelodge would be a safe bet

you'd be wrong
