2003-05-09 - 1:20 a.m. it felt sad...it felt sad - X okay, i'm buzzing, and i'm burnt out. tonignt was the X show at the ventura theater, the concert i've been looking forward to for quite some time, and we got there at 9, wathced sub par bands, drank many 7&7's, waited for the band to come on, theen at like 11:45ish, exene, d.j., and billy zoom come onstage, tell us that john doe is 'nt there, and that in teh whole history of the band that this had never happened, and the show was cancelled, and would be rescheduled for a later date. WHAT THE FUCK? they waited til almost fucking midnight to tell us that? it's like, don't even tell me for a fucking second that they didn't know for hours that john wasn't there, and more importantly, wasn't ever gonna be there. you know, like, don't even try it. i'm very dissapoointed in them. i just KNOW that they knew the deal way before hand, and they made us wait around like chumps. after we got our replacement tickets, we went across the street to the greatest bar in the universe, the sans souci. it was SRO in there, and i had 2 apple martinis. i'm really fucking buzzed. like totally sloshed. i need to sleep and eat cuz i'm starvimg. thankgod i don't have court tomorrow. both the prosecution and the defense rested. so i dnot have to go back til monday. three day weekend!! anywho, i'm jst super dissapointed, and drunk, and tired, and hungry. whatever. alls i know is that i'll be a worthless butt nugget in the morning. yup. |
