the show last night was awesome! so good. idlewild are my new demi-gods. they played so well, and the lead singer's voice is incredible. the crowd was pretty rockin' for a change. like, actual excitement.
the french kicks were great as well. check out their website. the w.w.t.f.k.d? section is hysterical.
the natural history were really good. i'm glad i finally got to check them out. i bought their new cd, and according to the singer, who was selling it, it's not even out til may, so, that's cool.
the crowd, as usual, a wonderland of sexy indie rock boys, and supa fly girls. always a plus. i finall wore my hot pink t-shirt i had bought in s.f. it's SO pink. actually, i wore it under my camo t-shirt, but you could see it at the collar, and it was longer than the camo, so, it was visibly noticable. it looked kinda cool together. camo/hotpink. slapped on with my diesel jeans, i was looking mighty fine. i felt sexy last night. it's cool to feel that way sometimes. we had a coupla drinks at el coyote before the show, so, that probably helped my outlook on all things me.
when we got home, we had really, really, really good sex, and i didn't wake up til 10:30. if matt hadn't called, who knows when i woulda woke up. i was starving, which is normal after a night like that, so i called dan, and met him for a big ass breakfast at one of my fave places. chile verde mixed with eggs over easy drowned in tapatio is like crack. fucking excellent.
anyhow, i'm in the greatest mood, matty's fixing dinner, and i'm grooving to the sounds of my new cd comp, courtesy of one of my dland homies. it's the nuts. thanks!
