2003-03-13 - 10:54 p.m. drove up to hillside manor sometime after 2am, and talked a little while about the year - counting crows
just got home from l.a. patches and i ended up seeing "laurel canyon" in westwood. it was good. frances mcdormand, christian bale (yummy), kate beckinsdale, and...some other guy, nicolo, or something. shit. now i can't remember, but he was quite hot. he played madame mcdormand's love interest. it was the kind of movie that makes you want to smoke a j, and drink a lot. westwood is in the heart of ucla, so, there were plenty of fresh faced college men. it was a nice scene, you know? cute boys in basketball shorts, and ball caps. i was chatted up by a guy named nathan in the gap. super cute. he was like, "see you around", and i was thinking, 'i'd like to see you naked'. is that bad? it made me feel good though, like i've still got it. i'm half kidding. i'm not freaked out about being my age, but, it's still sorta weird, you know? like my twenties are coming to an end, and that's that. it's cool. just strange. anyway, the gang was heading out to the viper room to see this really great band called "bomb child", but, like i told patches, i had to get back home to the ball & chain. totally kidding. i'm so gonna jump on matt now... 'night |
