2003-02-16 - 10:39 p.m. i have a question. i'm serious about this. question: what would all these anti war celebrity type people have us do? if not war, then what? what is the appropriate action for the events of september 11th? i'm not saying an eye for an eye, but after such a profound act of terrorism, what? also, on a similar track, i hope all these anti war activists realize that they can say what they like, write what they like, and do what they like because a group of men and women fought for the privilege in WWII. if not for them we'd be some goosestepping motherfuckers. i'm not saying they're wrong, but, i want them to know that if not for these people that they could be tortured, imprisoned, or simply shot where they stand. i don't have the answers. i just think that it's easy to piss and moan about lack of freedom when you're lousy with it. goodnight. |
