my sister, and her boyfriend, and my nephews are moving. thank god. their current apartment is pretty bad. not so much the place, but, the neighborhood/neighbors are super sketchy. the new place is like the total opposite of the current. i'm so happy for them. my nephews especially. i worry about them so much. a lot of it is just irrational, and i've never even told my family about what keeps me up at night. for instance, when my 2 year old nephew was a baby, i'd be in my own bed, and wide awake thinking about sids. sudden infant death syndrome. like, the whole thought of it terrified me. it was like 2 in the morning, and i'd seriously want to go over, or call, and make someone check that he was breathing. is that horrible? in my defense, i didn't think about it ALL the time, but, when i did it was pretty bad. but, like i said, i never told anyone about it. what would i have said? 'yeah, i was just thinking about THE WORST THING IMAGINABLE all last night.' how creepy would that sound? anyway, that was special wasn't it? uh...yeah.

i rented some movies today: tadpole, 24 hour party people, and 13 conversations about 1 thing. i watched a bit of tadpole, but, then "the artist" called, and we had a nice long chat. he's happy as a clam, and he said he wished he had moved sooner. that's so cool.

i haven't told matt, but, brent's been bugging me. i'm seriously considering going to my boss. you know what though, i don't wanna be 'that guy'. i guess technically it would fall under sexual harrassment, and i don't want all the bullshit that would go along with that. he's just saying stupid stuff, and doing some stuff, and whatever. it's sorta embarrassing, and i don't want to make a big deal about all the dumb stuff.

oh, get this, i've been told AGAIN that i'm a clean freak. that's not true. this guy hardly even know me, and we were talking, and he's like, "knowing you, your car's probably spotless." i was thinking, 'but, you DON'T know me though.' what is that? so, i don't come to work with like stains, and smelly, and i'm a neat freak? steve laughs at my "shoe thing", patches laughs at my "car thing", and matt laughs at a bunch of stuff too. these people are obviously in cahoots, and on crack.

speaking of patches, i left her a message this morning letting her know that i got us tix to see phantom planet at the el rey in a coupla weeks. she called me awhile later, and she did what she ALWAYS DOES WHEN SHE IS RETURNING A CALL, which is laugh at how i leave a message. if i hear, "you are so uncomfortable on the phone, i just listen to your messages, and laugh." i don't know why, but, it just got on my nerves today. i didn't say anything, but, i was thinking, OKAY, I GET IT. I'M HI-FUCKING-LARIOUS. i know i sound like a baby, but, gee whiz, you know? everybody does certain stuff, has like, behaviors, characteristics, what have you, and as long as their not wildly inappropriate, violent, or illegal in most states, then you just let it go, right? maybe you chuckle, shake your head a little, thinking, 'oh, that guy', but, to point it out like it's the first time you're noticing it EVERY SINGLE TIME is a bit much, no?
