now playing: the agenda - start the panic hey, i'm watching so graham norton on bbc america. he's hilarious. today, work was cool. i got off early, and did a little more christmas shopping. i really need to stop buying stuff for my nephews. i was supposed to start on my aunts, maybe my grandparents, instead, i bought more clothes, and toys for "the boys". i rented "cq", and, "beat" yesterday. "beat" was kinda lame. it has courtney love, ron livingston, keifer sutherland, and norman reedus. a good cast, a good premise, the whole beat generation thing, but, the execution was lacking. i still haven't seen "cq". later tonight, or tomorrow. i tried to watch it last night, but, matt, and i started talking, and it was late by the time we finished. it was really good conversation, and as i've written before, good convo gives me a woody. tomorrow night, we're going to club sucker in hollywood, or west hollywood, to be specific. this club is taking the place of club cherry. cherry is no longer, though i'm not sure why. it should be fun. i need an l.a. night. i feel like i haven't been out in ages. i bought matt this great tank top that i want him to wear with a pair of my jeans. i just noticed something today. when did tank tops stop being tank tops, and become muscle shirts, or athletic shirts? i guess it's like the aber-culture of things, eh? the whole sporty, preppy, pretty, muscley thing. i don't know. it's no big deal, but, i think it's funny when i've gone my whole life referring to something as what i've always referred to it as, and then, it becomes something else. growing up, thongs were sandals, or, flip flops. now, we only think of one thing when you say thong, and it ain't got nothing to do with ones feet. so, is "tank top" over? i'm just trying to stay hep to the lingo. whatever. |
