2002-10-25 - 7:34 p.m. fix me breakfast, and please go - the pattern hey, i bought the foo fighters new album today. i got through the first 3 songs, and i wasn't moved one way or the other. maybe, i just wasn't in the right mood. i found out that sheryl crow is opening for the stones next week. that's sorta cool. i like sheryl crow, alright. i'm addicted to bbc america. right now, this show called, gimme gimme gimme is on. it's about this gay aspiring actor, and his foul mouthed, female roommate. they're so dirty. also, coupling, changing rooms, ab fab, and, cracker are all fabulous. i've been reading the new collection of love & rockets comics. they're the nuts. i used to read the old ones, when i could get my hands on 'em. the brothers hernandez are very talented artists. if you like comics, then check it out. we're invited to this party tomorrow. i kinda don't want to go, but, matt does. i like the people who are throwing it very much. i just don't feel like going. there's no specific reason. matt says it's because they're more his friends than mine, and i'm worried about being uncomfortable. that might be somewhat true, but like i told him, "sweetie, i'm always uncomfortable." i want to go see the jackass movie instead. is that so wrong? johnny knoxville is way sexy. last night, i watched the last episode of push, nevada. i thought that it was inventive, unique, and wholly entertaining, but, nobody else was watching it. so, it got canned. suckiness. i think that i'm gonna see flogging molly next month. guess who's opening? andrew w.k. patches is like, "i can't stand him, but, aren't you the least bit curious?" kinda sorta, but, not really. it's at the palace though, and i love the palace. if he's truly terrible, then, at least i can go up to the bar, and smoke. i'll probably end up going. i better hurry though. flogging molly usually sell out when they play in l.a. probably everywhere else too. they're awesome. there's another show i want to go to. the soundtrack of our lives, and the cato salsa experience are playing the el rey at the end of next month. i'd like to catch that show. also, rilo kiley, and ranier maria are playing the troubadour. there are always so many good, relatively cheap shows to go to. hopefully, i'll make it to all three, but, we'll see. goodnight. |
